When your a bike-theft victim?
Hi. I live in a european coutry where having a bike is a necessety to get a round. (guess where) I have no car and live in the city. About a month ago my bike was stolen so I had to buy a new one- and when I woke up this morning my bike was stolen again......ohhh. I have no job and and two bikes stolen in a month are big costs.
Are there cheap detectors/tracers I can put in my bike? (fot the next time...)-I really am feeling very angry.
Could this not be a coincidence- maybe someone doesn't like me?
Does it make any sense rooming the city to see if I can find it back?thanks

Trading Algorithms are relatively new to the Forex Market and there are a few products on the market which now incorporate these Algo trading detection mathematics into their software. One of these is the New Forex Tracer. Released on to the market in June 2008 this new software comes with the following trading system set up.
A sophisticated strategy developed to analyze currency markets, it combines break out systems with an indicator based system to confirm the market and is analyzed and set up the way it should be. A risk management tool, that calculates the amount of lots related to the risk associated with each trade and shields against excessive losses and margin calls.
A market engine strategy where an automatic engine enters the market as safely as possible, which through its algorithms protects the trade from unpredictable behavior and/or the brokers false doings. A set of money management tools that exit each trade as safely as possible to make the most of multiple trades.
Forex Tracer also trades their system live so traders who use the algorithm trading software can publish their live trades online. The Forex Tracer also runs a Blog where traders offer there day to day trading stats from up to 11 currency pairs available within this Algo trading software.
The Foreign Exchange Market is a relatively new trading platform and as this unpredictable market continues to be sourced and scalped with difficulty, only a few Forex Algorithm Trading Products have been released on to the market.
For beginners wanting to get ahead in this market it is strongly advised you trade on a play account before you get involved for real.

Articles and News about Detector Headphones
I decided recently that I needed a hobby, something that would get me out of the house, into the fresh air and give me a bit of exercise too. So, with that I mind I went out and bought myself a metal detector on the advice of a friend of mine.
What could be better I thought, being out in the open, walking up and down, and finding hidden treasure as well.
So, a few weekends ago I loaded my new metal detector into the car and headed for a stretch of deserted coastline not too far from where we live. It was a bit cold and there was a breeze blowing off the sea but it didn't bother me as I was excited about what I might find hidden below the sand and shingle.
I turned on the metal detector, put the headphones on my head, at least my ears would be protected from the cold, and set off making my first sweep of the selected area. Not long after I started it began to drizzle lightly but I carried on, waiting for all important beep through the headphones.
Two hours later, I was soaked to the skin, freezing cold and the only beeps I heard resulted in finding some bits of rusty old junk.
When I got back home I phoned my friend Cody and told him what had happened. He burst out laughing, which didn't make me feel any better at all.
Cody went on to tell me that when he first started ten years before he had had similar results. But, over the years he had learned so much that he now considered himself to be an expert on metal detecting.
So much so, he told me, that he had written a book on the subject which he gladly gave me a copy of.
When I read it I was really impressed. The tips and secrets that Cody reveals in his book are awesome. I can't wait to go and try out the new techniques for myself.

Looking for PIR Detector? Then have a look below to see what we have on offer, stock changes daily
My last question was about IR or infrared light's ability to go through glass, but...?
...I'm still confused. I was reading about PIR, or passive infrared motion sensors on www.howstuffworks.com and how they cannot detect anything behind a window. The article states that glass is transparent to visible light, but opaque to infrared. If motion detectors are supposed to detect IR energy (heat) and IR energy can pass through glass as some people state, then how come motion detectors don't get tripped?
Another thing I read was about greenhouses, and how they work by trapping in long wave IR energy on the inside. In other words, the IR energy isn't able to go through glass.
Err, could someone please clarify this for me? Thanks!
Depends on the wavelength of the I.R.
Visible wavelengths are 400-700 nm or 0.4-0.7 microns.
I.R. from 0.7 microns to around 3 or so microns is mostly transmitted through glass.
I.R. at longer wavelengths than this is mostly absorbed by glass. If a detector is sensitive only to this longer-wave I.R., it will not detect objects behind glass. However, detectors that are sensitive to "near-I.R." can detect objects behind glass.
As for you question about greenhouses:
Room- and body-temperature objects emit I.R. at wavelengths considerably longer than 3 microns, so this radiation is trapped by glass in greenhouses.
An object as hot as the sun emits mostly visible and near-I.R., so the sunlight passes through the greenhouse windows and is absorbed by objects inside the greenhouse.Hope this helps.

Articles and News about PIR Detector
After the door and window alarms, indoor motion detectors are a primary feature of good, effective home security system. Unfortunately, many people are leery of motion detectors. They either think they are “too” hi-tech and therefore not affordable, or they’ve had negative experiences with too many “false alarms” by accidental triggering.
The truth is, motion detectors are available based on a variety of technologies and covering a wide range of prices. These devices have also become much more dependable and efficient as technologies have advanced.
Here are the various kinds of indoor motion detectors available..
Infrared -- Though magnetic sensors are the most common in home security systems (used for door and window alarms), infrared sensors are the most frequently used in motion detectors. These sensors are designed to detect radiated heat and are often referred to as PIR sensors, or passive infrared sensors. The fact that this particular technology is so cheap and reliable has made it standard choice among most security systems.
Microwave -- Microwave sensors are able to detect movement by emitting microwave energy. Microwave energy does have its shortcomings. For instance, it is able to penetrate walls which allows it to detect motion in other rooms. The most frequent application of this type of sensor is in automatic doors as seen in many retail businesses. But, combined with other technologies (see below) it is still quite useful in home applications as well.
Dual -- One of the frequent issues in indoor motion detectors is with the family pets. These sensors have to be able to distinguish between the movement of a family member and that of an animal in the house (say a cat or a dog). These dual sensors utilize microwave and infrared technologies and are able to ignore movements that should not trigger the alarm system.
Ultrasonic -- These sensors can be one of two types. They can either emit high frequency sound (called an active sensor) or they can detect sounds (called a passive sensor). Being among the most sensitive motion detectors available they are also among the most costly. For that reason alone, they are not typically not found in home applications.
Shock -- Typically these are not thought of as a motion detectors because they are not detecting the movement of people, but of air. More commonly known as glass break sensors, these actually detect the shock wave created when a window is broken and so are often called "glass break sensors". These devices are sometimes called “sound” or “acoustic” sensors. Many times they are used as a redundant monitor for the magnetic sensors typically used for windows.
Though the best case scenario is to keep the potential home intruder out of your home, sometimes they do gain entrance. When that happens, it is critical to be alerted to any “unauthorized” movement in your home. Indoor motion detectors play a vital role in home security.

Detector Spy Q and A's
i need protection for my computer?
i just reinstalled my operating system on my computer and i need to protect it so i don't get viruses, hacked or any thing else like i did before. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks : ) here is a list of some things i am looking for, other things would be fine too.
•Firewall
•Spam filter
•Spyware program
•Virus scan program
•Spy bot detector
•MS removal toolFor a firewall look at Comodo or Zone Alarm. Both are free and better than Windows firewall. One other option is to place a router between your internet connection and your computer. Even if you do not have a home network, the router offers a hardware firewall.
Spam filter can be turned on with your email provider or on your client. Both Outlook and Thunderbird have provisions for this.
As for Anti-Spyware, AVG has a free version. There is also Spybot and Windows defender. Windows defender is actually a pretty decent program on a clean system. that is the catch.
I like AVG Free for anti-virus needs. There are others like Avast.
MS has a malicious software removal tool. Search the MS site for it though chances are that if you have automatic updates on you already have it.
If you feel the need to pay for a suite than stay away form Norton. First off, once you install it, you will eed to purchase a subscription to get updates after the initial period. Norton also has a tendency to bog down system resources. So if you are running on the min for your OS, don't get it. Norton is also targeted by malicious users since it is so popular. Many Trojans and viruses today seek ways to disable your protection.
Good luck.

A hidden camera is a still or video camera used to film people without their knowledge. The camera is “hidden” because it is either not visible to the subject being filmed, or is disguised as another object. Hidden cameras have become popular for household surveillance, and can be built into common household objects such as smoke detectors, clock radios, motion detectors, ball caps, plants, and cellphones. Hidden cameras may also be used commercially or industrially as security cameras.A hidden camera can be wired or wireless. The former will be connected to a TV, VCR, or DVR, whereas a wireless hidden camera can be used to transmit a video signal to a receiver within a small radius (up to a few hundred feet). Well, this time I will introduce a new products about hidden camera.

How to fix an ADT, alarm system, "fire check" bug?
Alright, a few days ago, i accidently set off my smoke detector, and i own an ADT security system in my home. And, when the system went off, the ADT panel said "05, Fire [Check]". I contacted my local fire station warning them it was just a false alarm, and let it slide. But, my panel still has that warning on there, and i was wondering if anybody knew how to fix it? We called ADT and they said to run all these tests, including using a hair dryer, a vacuum, and setting in our password, and things along that line. But, still no results, so if anybody knows anything to do, please contact me.
If the tasks at hand failed, try arming and disarming the system. If that does not work (with the system disarmed) go to your main control panel and unplug the power transformer. Then open the control panel and unplug the black battery. (The control panel is usually tan, grey, or white)
Wait 30 sec or so and plug everything back in. Check the keypad. You will have to renter the time and date.If by unplugging and plugging everything back in works call ADT and schedule a service call. The teck that setup the system did not quite setup things the right way.

There are many factors associated with choosing the right hidden cameras. You want to consider the color, quality of the image, sensibility to low levels of light, and receivers. These things can help you choose the best camera that works right for you.
The color of a hidden camera you choose is going to make a big difference. You want the camera to blend in with the location where it is going to be placed. It shouldn't be visible to the people or it will defeat the purpose of having a hidden camera. There are tons of different types of spy cameras you can purchase in different colors and shapes.
Image quality is one of the biggest factors you need to consider when you purchase hidden cameras. The quality of the image should be top of the line. The way picture quality works in video is that it is measured by lines of resolution. The highest resolution is the best quality. Surveillance cameras do not provide for high definition picture quality. That is why you see surveillance videos of robberies taking place that are blurry and hard to see. Get the best resolution possible so you can recognize the person in the video. There is no point of surveillance cameras and tapes if the video is not recognizable.
Hidden cameras also need to have a good light sensitivity or LUX. LUX is the measurement of low light sensitivity. If you have a surveillance camera you want it to work very well in the dark also, not only during the daytime or in fluorescent lighting. Most crimes happen in the dark and you want the camera to be able to provide quality video on a low light day. The lower the LUX is the better the camera will be able to see in conditions that are low in light.
Wireless cameras need to come with receivers. You should have a receiver and they can be expensive in come cases. The best hidden cameras will come with the receivers so you don't have to purchase anything additional. You want to be sure to purchase the entire package and have it all ready to plug in and begin recording your surveillance. If you choose a camera that does not have a receiver then you will need to purchase one to make it work right. Keep in mind that the receiver you choose needs to be compatible with the camera.
When you use hidden cameras in your store, home, or workplace there are many factors that you should look into before you choose a camera. These things include the color of the camera and blending, the quality and resolution of the images, LUX, and if the camera includes the receiver. Choosing the right camera for your surveillance needs will ensure you come out with a picture quality that works right for you. You will be able to recognize the person on the video and there won't be any questions asked or way to deny the actions.
