Is there any portable HDTV Recording technology in the pipeline?
I was wondering if there is anything like a VCR for HDTV in development or production. I'm looking for something that can record HDTV, and then I can have it, like a video tape or HD-DVD. I already have a DVR that can record, but it's stuck in the DVR and can't be kept permanently or shared with others, and it is also limited by the DVR's Hard Drive size.
To This_One_Dude: No I'm counting on the other capitalists and entrepeneurs out there like Steve Jobs and Wozniak, Bill Gates, the guys who founded Google or Yahoo. Notice how this stuff doesn't get created in socialist countries? Ever wonder why?They already have a Blu-Ray burner out for the computer, so they will most likely come out with a Blu-Ray DVD recorder you can hook up to your TV, and probably and HD-DVD one as well.

The Game King-II is a Chinese-made MP4 player. This model can play movies and MP3s. It has an FM radio, digital voice recorder, photo viewer, text file reader, and has a built-in camera.
The Game King-II features 1 GB built-in capacity, an SD card slot for adding up to 2 GB via an SD card and a 2.3-inch full-color display, as well as a built-in microphone. The Game King-II also is able to emulate Game Boy, NES, and SNES games.

The Game King-II has the ability to emulate Game Boy, Game Boy Color, NES, and SNES games with varying levels of quality. The emulators seem to be custom programmed for the device and are not ports of popular open source emulators.
