The thermal equilibrium also depends on the substance which is being used inside the thermometer.
There are many scientists who have dedicated their life to be able to contribute something to this world of thermodynamics. One of the most famous of these scientists is Sadi Carnot. He was the person behind the famous Carnot engine, which works on the principle of thermodynamics. Apart from him there are other scientists like Robert Hooke, Robert Boyle, Thomas Savery, etc.
Thermodynamics is one of the most important branches of physics. This subject has got much importance because of the practical applications of this subject. More and more students are interested in this subject and researchers are continuously working to find more useful information for those students.
