gizmo-you werent very helpful. i said i am noviceIt's that top middle button on the back with the picture (icon) of a flower. It also has an icon of a square with a dot in the middle of it- which refers to spot metering.
But press it and you will see on the LCD (or EVF) the picture of the flower come up- then you know you're in macro mode.
