Binocular Double Vision Problem : Barska Gladiator Zoom 10-30 x 60?
I just purchased this pair of binoculars and so far they're great except a double vision problem. I read reviews and other people have mentioned they've had the problem too, but I couldn't find anything on correcting it. I like the binoculars and I'd rather not return them if there's something I can do with the adjustments myself. They came with minimal instructions (mainly adjusting focus/eye piece distance) and didn't have a troubleshooting area. I've tried several adjustments, but it can't seem to clear it up. I've left a message with Barska customer support but they have yet to return my call.
I had a 25x100 binocular for testing which showed this problem. I had always read that collimation of binoculars was a fine art, and required special equipment, but I found instructions on the web which allowed me to adjust my binoculars with ease.
