i want a japanese plug adaptor, need it to work on a british plug, anyone know anywhere in uk that sells them
Im looking for a shop in Manchester preferably, anyone know a chain of shops that will sell them that i can collect r get delivered?
Wanna take my phone away with me and will need to convert the charger to japanese plugs!
Im taking my phone only for its mp3 and camera purposes, dont want to use it to make calls, that would probably cost me a bomb!any shop selling international adapters should be OK. Im pretty certain that the Japense power system is the same as ther USA/Canada ie its two pin 110v/60Hz...... check your charger is rated for 110v (look at the adapter you should see somethign similar to 110v~220v
try Maplin on Oxford road, try a travel shop, I think most large Tesco sell 'em. even the shops in the airport should be able to help, although you will pay a heavy price there.....
But that deals with power, one thing to check before you go is that you phone will actaully work there.. talk to you mobile phone company and chedck the handset will work in Japan.. the Japanese netwroks are more advanced that the UK/European networks, there may be probelms of compatability, and whihc frequencies that are used.
