Converter or adapter for international travel?
I will be going to Thailand next month. I was wondering if I need an international converter plug or just an adapter? I will be needing it for my hair straightener as well as to charge my phone, ipod, & camera. From what I've been reading, it seems like i need a different type for my electronics and for my hair straightener. Is there one that I can use for both or do I need 2 separate types?
You can get a converter that will work with both low and high wattage requirements. You need low wattage for electronics (for long-term charging) and high for heat-producing equipment (that is used for a short time).
Look for one that goes from 50 to 1600 watts.
Also, check to see if your hair straightener is dual voltage (it will say 110-240, and will have a switch to alternate between the two). You won't need a converter for that.

AutoFFV is so called because this latest export model is 100% fully automatic. When installed it makes the normal gasoline car behave and perform as a Flex Fuel Vehicle (FFV). This enables the vehicle to run on any mix of Gasoline and Ethanol.
